INGREDIENTS
2 oz Bardstown Bourbon Co. Fusion Series
1 oz fresh lime juice*
.5 oz rich demerara syrup
METHOD
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin. Fill shaker with ice and shake until outside is cold, approximately 10-12 seconds. Double strain into a mule mug over ice. Top with ginger beer and serve.
FRESH CITRUS JUICE
Cut the width of the citrus in half. In a hand juicer, place citrus face down and squeeze. Store in refrigerator up to 8 hours. Avoid prepackaged juice and other alternatives, as they can be pasteurized, contain pulp, and be too acidic.
