Nestled in Bardstown, KY, The Bourbon Capital of the World, we produce the highest-quality Kentucky bourbon, whiskey, and rye expressions by pushing the boundaries of flavor. We are the first Napa Valley style destination on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® to combine distilling, culinary, and beverage expertise to create a modern, authentic bourbon experience. Exploring the stories, decisions, and craftsmanship behind our most innovative whiskeys.
“Behind the Blend” is a series of in-person experiences led by Master Blender Dan Callaway that uncover the inspiration, blending philosophy, barrel selection, and maturation techniques behind Bardstown Bourbon Company’s most distinctive releases.
More than a traditional tasting, each session offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the people responsible for bringing each whiskey exploration to life. Guests will also enjoy thoughtfully paired culinary bites prepared by our award-winning kitchen.

CORE FOUR TOUR
Formerly our flagship Distillate to Barrel Tour, we will guide you through a tasting of our Core 4 whiskeys, including three bourbons and one rye. Following the tasting, one of our Certified Bourbon Stewards will lead you on a journey through our state-of-the-art distillery and out to our rickhouse, where you can taste our bourbon thieved straight from the barrel.

RICKHOUSE BARREL THIEVING

Master Distiller Steve Nally shares his knowledge and inside secrets as he takes you on a personal tour of the most technically advanced distillery in the country. With fifty years of Bourbon experience as Master Distiller at Maker’s Mark and Wyoming Whiskey, Steve shares an unparalleled perspective on bourbon production. He will lead guests on a behind the scenes look at every part of our distillation process. Enjoy a tasting of Steve’s favorite mash bills and learn about his history, method, and love for bourbon!

Yes. All our experiences are educational and require a purchased ticket for each guest, regardless of participation in the tasting.
Guests must be 21 or older to participate in our experiences. This includes infants and children — no exceptions.
Only certified service animals are permitted inside the facility and on tours. Pets are welcome on our outdoor patio but must remain supervised at all times.
Yes, we currently operate two locations. Please review the experience descriptions carefully to ensure you’re booking at the correct site.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Many of our experiences book up to 60 days in advance.
Unfortunately, we are unable to ship bottles purchased at the gift shop.
Yes, we offer a full-service restaurant and bar. To make a reservation, please visit OpenTable.
Yes, periodically we shut down for routine maintenance.
